Fleshwelder, Bonecrafter, and Pain Extractor.  That is how Methodicalus would describe himself and his work, in soft, hissing tones, his words exact and clipped.

A lich of the Xammux, an entity of dispassionate, cold and analytical thinking taken to the extreme, he follows their creed of utter indifference and delving into forbidden knowledge through exploration and experimentation.

His body is a frightening amalgamation of dried flesh, machinery and bone, all welded together, to 'improve' himself.  Having found that his original body was simply not efficient enough, he adjusted himself with what could be only called indifference, so that his endless experimentation could continue.

An expert in flesh manipulation, surgery, alchemy (drugs, poisons, potions), and pain experimentation, he has made a career out of altering his subjects in ways that they may desire - and in many that they do not, uncaring of their opinion on the matter in the face of experimentation.  Horrifyingly, he also ensures his subjects remain awake while he performs his duties - meaning that only the most desperate seek him out, if they do at all.  Usually his subjects are unwilling slaves of others, who are invited to observe - in the name of science of course.

His main trade is in liquid pain, other potions and poisons, and souls, which he often incorporates into his experiments - usually making them servants for his laboratory, which he seldom, if ever, ventures out of.

He appears as a tall, cadaverous figure, thin and skeletal, accompanied by the smell of oil and formaldehyde whereever he goes.  His body is a mixture of metal, withered flesh and bone, his legs mechanical, one of his hands a spliced horror of blades, scissors and injectors.  Animated chains are attached to his spinal column and back, enchanted in a way that he can use them to hold instruments - or an unwilling subject.  His face is usually hooded, but when visible, is the cold, empty rictus of a long dead corpse.


OOC - This is not, strictly speaking, a character for ERP, unless your character is into extreme pain, torture and other nastiness.  If you are, you can expect the following -

Transformative surgery (gender shifting, enchancements, grafts of demonic or bestial nature, physical appearance changes.)
Drugs, poisons.
Piercings - either needles into flesh or actual piercing work.
Breast and genital torture and disfigurement.
Restraints.
Extreme pain (for the extraction thereof in liquid form).
Chemical introduction or extraction.
Torture, sexual or non sexual, in various forms.

You get the picture.  Methodicalus is, himself, without passion or lust, and is only in these things for the science, horrifying though it is.  Whatever sexual material that takes place will be done coldly, efficiently, and without a trace of emotion on his own part - he cares nothing for his subjects, except what he can learn, the only passion this cold, cold being cares about.
