Lyrah is an androgynous canine-esque woman of a boyish physique. Taller than most and with a curved doglike tail, she stands on strong plantigrade legs. Her lacking bosom, boyish rear and fairly broad shoulders paint her less feminine than she would like.

Lyrah's head is a matter of distinction from most anthropomorphs as her head really isn't 'canine'. There are superficial similarities. But she lacks the robust jaw of a carnivore, her free-moving lower jaw articulates it a distinctly more human fashion and she lacks carnassial teeth in any form. Moreover, due to her race's reliance upon mastication before swallowing, she possesses nearly complete cheeks that end shortly before her canines and if need be, an ability to (mostly) seal her lips.

Her muzzle is narrow, downward swept with a crooked jaw, her prominent canines poking out the bottom of her lips. Giving her small little "Fangs". The snout tip is notable for being a bit darker then the rest of her face. Though this trend ends when her actual nose is in question, as the flesh of her nose itself is pink. Able to darken considerably do express embarrassment in the canine woman.

Lyrah's clear, light blue eyes are round friendly and bright--although they are framed by what seems to be a thick eyeliner. Staining her fur with a black oil of some kind. Shimmering almost purple in certain lighting. She also often wears glasses.

While most of her ear length is erect, the cartilage softens as they go up the length causing her ears to end in small, floppy tips They lack the musculature needed to move swiftly to turn and face sounds. She can flatten them to her head, and raise them upwards, but she lacks the muscular control of a true canine. To the touch, these ears are somewhat thick and almost feel rubbery, although they are coated in a soft, velvety fur sharing the same darker color of her snout.

The Canine's straight hair is just long enough about her eyes to be obnoxious, and slightly longer throughout the rest of her head, layered to give a feathered look to her visage. The hair also covers a larger cranium then is usually found on a dog. Further evidencing her race's more specialized development. Moreover, her skull
is designed to attach to a body via its base rather then its rear. She is an erect and not quadrupedal creature.

A further matter of note is Lyrah is not a particularly strong presence in the weave. In fact, she seems contrary to arcana or magic in general. A See Magic or true seeing spell would locate her not due to magic flowing through her body, but due to the total lack of any. Magic seems to steer clear of her. Abilities to read alignment or see auras fail, seeing nothing but an unpleasant void.
