Damara's broad features and stocky frame hint at mixed blood, in this case, a meld of dwarf and human.  Unusual enough in most cultures, it has made her an outcast in either society.  Tall and 'flighty' amongst her dwarven kin, staid and 'prissy' with humans.

Having sought solace in the Temple of Valaya since a young age, Damara has dedicated herself as a maiden in the Hearth Lady's service - sworn to protect the dwarven homes and holds of her erstwhile kin.
