Name:  Lavinia, Daughter of Ivar Trollsmasher, of Clan Ironshield, Orchid Knight of Citadel Felbarr Age:  25 Height:  3 feet, 11 inches Occupation:  Member of the Sinifer City Council Born a healthy winged girl on one of the many planes of Celestia, Lavinia was the apple of her mother's eye.  As time went on, the baby did not seem to grow as the other children did.  She just... stopped.  This caused her angelic mother great consternation, who sought various magical cures, none of which worked, and were only a cause of physical and emotional pain to the poor little girl. Soon, the tiny anomaly became a source of embarrassment to her mother, as it became apparent that the wee girl was the result of a dalliance between the angelic woman and a hin bard.  It became increasingly difficult for the woman to care for the child.  So the woman, believing it in Lavinia's best interest, bundled the toddler off to another plane, to a home for very special youngsters.  One day, when a dwarven trade caravan from Citadel Felbarr arrived, Lavinia wriggled her way into a sack of beans and stowed away. After the initial surprise of finding a tiny winged girl among their number, the dwarves took her in and she became something of a mascot among them, particularly a stout warrior named Ivar.  Too small for an axe, Ivar smithed a tiny kukri for the girl and taught her how to swing it.  Soon, the kukri became a blur as she could swing it faster and faster, and she could soon sing any one of a dozen drinking songs in her high, musical voice, though in the thick accent of the Felbarr dwarves.  After a caravan stop at a temple of Shelyn, goddess of music, beauty, art, and love, the young Lavinia dedicated her life to service, though she always kept a place in her heart for Moradin, the god of her adopted family. She began to study and train, and was soon defending caravans on her own.  One day, a band of ogres attacked a caravan she was defending, and the tiny Lavinia flew around them, darting in and out, slashing and cutting until  all slain.  For this heroic service, the King of Citadel Felbarr granted Lavinia a knighthood of the Citadel, and she selected the orchid for her coat of arms.
