Description
      In Dragon Form (And background)

A powerful mist dragon, Salayx Nandaloth (Also known as The Faded) lived as most mist dragons do, a solitary life in the swamps of Faerun. However, her peaceful existence wasn't meant to be. She was faced with a growing amount of Green dragons encroaching on her territory. Finding herself with no allies, she had to make compromises to save her home and her own life. While she wished to live peacefully in the swamp without conflict, without contact, the Green dragons wished her dead simply because she existed.

With no options left, she casted a summoning spell of old and brought forth a powerful Barghest to assist her. In return for her assistance, the Barghest demanded the dragon's service. At the time, it seemed like a decent agreement. Anything is better than being annihilated and forced off your home, anyway. Or at least, that's what she assumed.

The dragon threat was easily eliminated between the power of an ancient Mist dragon and a Barghest, and all was well until The Faded was forced to fulfill her end of the bargain. As a creature of honor, she wouldn't refuse the demands of the one who saved her and her home. She was collared, her powers bound by the enchanted binding on her neck. Ironically though, her insistence on staying and fighting to save it was ultimately pointless. After she was taken into what essentially amounted to slavery, she was taken from her home anyway, as the Barghest's pet, slave, and lackey.

In terms of her appearance, she looks as you'd expect a mist dragon to. (Will include a source at the bottom for this.)

           In Human Form

Known as Selandru in humanoid form, it's rather clear that she isn't one of the normal races. Starting with her head, she has multiple horns jutting out either side of it. Her hair is often kept short, almost never going down to her shoulders. Past that, her body is pretty much completely perfect in terms of a feminine form. Considering she polymorphed into it, one would hardly expect it to be ugly and blemished. Her skin is very pale, more white really, absolutely smooth to the touch on every inch of it. Her chest is a good, hefty size with well shaped mounds, sitting above a trimmed and smooth tummy. Her legs are inverse with paws rather than hooves or feet, covered in scales with diabolically sharp claws tucked away inside them.

Personality wise, she retains a lot of herself. She's very quiet and solitary, speaking with an almost ethereal, but audibly feminine voice. She seems to have little interest in conversing with anyone. Not because she dislikes people, but simply because she doesn't want their company.

Appearance and Lore of Mist Dragons (I DIDN'T WRITE THIS! It's from Dragons of Faerun.)

Mist dragons are solitary and philosophical. Their favorite activity is sitting quietly and thinking. They hate being disturbed and dislike conversation.

A wyrmling mist's scales are shiny blue-white. As the dragon ages, the scales darken, becoming blue-gray with metallic silver flecks that sparkle in the sunlight. Its eyes are sea green with silvery pupils. As it gets older, the dragon's pupils seem to spread, until in the oldest the eyes resemble orbs of true silver.

Mist dragons live near waterfalls, rapids, coastlines, or where rainfall is frequent and heavy. Their lairs are usually large natural caverns or grottoes that are mist-filled and damp. Forest dwelling mist dragons occasionally come into conflict with green dragons. Mist dragons greatly resent the green dragon's advances before losing all patience and launching an all out campaign to destroy or drive away the aggressor.

Mist dragons eat almost anything, including woody plants and mud; however, they draw most of their sustenance directly from natural mist or spray. They often lie in foggy places, thinking and basking in the moisture.

The dragon has a finlike crest running down it's spine from just behind its head all the way to the tip of its long flattened tail. Its head is very broad near the neck, and it tapers to a long snout, giving it an arrow like shape. A pair of long barbels hangs from its upper lip and the end of the snout. The dragon has a heavy brow of ridges over its eyes, two large horns rising from the back of its head, and clusters of hornlets at the base of the upper jaw.  The scent of rain surrounds the dragon.
