Throughout his years of travel, he has acquired a rather unique accent, and might be hard to understand.  Accompanying this acccent is a hardened body, fitting of a man who has spent these traveling years making a living off of physical labor.  Judging by the scattered scars on his arm, one may draw the conclusion that he's seen his fair share of combat.  This is in stark contrast to his face, which remains unscathed.  If his torso is exposed, a more significant but faded scar extending from just under his left shoulder down to his right side would be present.  Were one particularly perceptive, they may notice what appears to be a weddingband on Ardas' ringfinger.

Ardas has recently begun teaching a "History of Faerun" class at the local college.
