Torfin is rather heavyset for a human, thick limbed and strong, his features broad and sturdy.  Those familiar with dwarven lore might realise that he is an Umli (...or more crudely, a Mul) - a half-dwarf.

Generally scorned by both sides of their heritage, many Umli fall to banditry and robbing to survive.  Torfin has fully embraced his dwarven heritage.  Even if he has to endure the scorn and refusal of his kin, he keeps to the Old Ways.

Moradin however has seen fit to bless him with a measure of his Grace.  It remains to be seen what this half-breed does with it.

Torfin possesses the dusky skin of his father and the golden hair of his mother, that same gilded hue that attracted him to her in the first place.  He is thickset, but clean limbed, handsome in a rough sort of way, he certainly lacks the brusque nature many of his kin possess.
