He looks haggard and exhausted, limping and stooped, with an almost defeated look to him, but his eyes are still alive and defiant.

At First Glance:
He is a tall human with long flaming red hair kept tied back, accompanied by full sideburns and the pale skin that usually accompanies his hair color. His eyes are purple, expressive, and intelligent. Whatever clothing he wears in public seems to have the cut and fit of a military uniform. His bearing and demeanor are military, standing straight, shoulders squared, and with a purposeful walk.

At Second Glance:
He seems young, perhaps in his mid- to late twenties. He has the muscular, lean build of a dancer or acrobat. His movements are precise, measured, efficient and naturally graceful. His eyes are full of curiosity and wonder, even taking interest in what others might find boring or mundane. His clothing is neat and definitely has the cut of a uniform on closer inspection, though unlike any from around here. His outfits cover his body completely, from the top of his neck to gloved hands to boots. He doesn't seem to miss much, though he doesn't necessarily react to what he sees.

Up Close and Personal:
He smells of mandarin and exotic spices, with hints of amber, musk, and sandalwood. Whatever clothing he wears is embroidered with a mix of arcane symbols and skulls, subtly sewn in the same color as the fabric they adorn, making them barely visible except when up close. On his right hand he wears a ring of white gold set with a round onyx stone surrounded by a shining ruby, jacinth, topaz, emerald, sapphire, amethyst, and diamond. At the base of his neck he wears a small amulet depicting a skull emerging from a ball of fire.

Up Close and Vulnerable:
Because the style of his clothing covers him completely, the following marks on his body are rarely seen: On the inside of each forearm, a single long scar going from wrist to elbow. At the base of his neck where it meets his right shoulder, a pair of large puncture scars set a few inches apart. At his back, near his spine and close to his heart, a horizontal knife scar approximately a half inch wide. At the center of his chest, a nearly perfect circular scar about an inch in diameter. They are all obviously old and healed. He has no other marks or tattoos on his body.
