Artemis is a perpetually shrouded male from Deep Imaskar, secluded in the depths of the Underdark, wherein he learned the art of the Arbiter - hunting down prey that would seek to elude justice.

However, when his sojourn from Imaskar began, Artemis gradually twisted into a very different man, his steel grey eyes taking on a certain hardened edge.

As is normal practice for an Imaskari, his memories were altered so that he could never return to his home, and so he wandered the realms for a time, before landing in Westgate, where his abilities were turned to the art of murder, as opposed to capture, and he was inducted into the ranks of the Night Masks of Westgate for his aptitude in stalking prey.

When he eventually found himself to Sifar, his talents were found to be somewhat disadvantaged in a realm where people refuse to die...

...but in a realm where flesh has more value than coin, there is often work for a Hunter of Men.

Artemis is a predator by nature, focusing predominantly on the objects of his hatred, Drow females - though this has proceeded to spread to a wider misogyny as he grows colder with each victim.
