Noi was born to a wealthy family. but when her arranged marriage approached and she found out is was to an old and bad tempered man, she ran away from home.

She had always dreamed of being a samauri, but nobody wanted to train an unskilled woman. So Noi left her country and traveled to the neighboring land to seek out some training. She found someone willing to teach her the way of the sword, and she learned fast. Her teacher was pleased with how quickly she mastered the sword and as a parting gift he gave her a sword he made for her. She treasures the sword as her most prized possesion.

Noi returned home as a skilled sword fighter and quickly earned the title of Samauri. She served her Lord faithfully until his death. Now she travels in search of a new Lord or Lady to serve.
