Longevity...
People always dream about a longer lifespan, what they will do with the extra time given.
Conveniently forgetting that it always ends in madness.
Elves on the other hand, they have their whole lifestyle measured to their longevity and literally take their time in doing things and getting things done.
...and then they descent into madness.
Longevity, it isn't as fun as people say it is.

...Who am I kidding, its a blast!
No really, the places I have seen, the people I have met, more than a human could do in ten times their lifespan.
Or elves on that matter, they sure live long but not THAT long, well some do but those are just stubborn.
Ofcourse silly mages tries to become undead or turn into another abomination just to live longer to enjoy their powers.
These things always comes with a price and the corruption is often just an extra bonus. Not that they care though.

Now I can go on about on how many friends I have lost over the years and the destruction of places I love to visit.
I can't deny that I do feel sad and have mourned on each and every loss.
But what use is it to feel sad all the time? with death there is life. Call me pragmatic but its the way of nature.
The endless circle of life, to live and die.
Mayhaps it helps being a nymph, being one of nature's embodiment that makes me have a different look upon the materialistic world around me.

As from the day I am been born on this world, blinking as I step into the sun.
There's more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done.
There's far too much to take in here, more to find than can ever be found.
The sun rolling high through the sapphire sky, keep great and small on the endless round.

Now if you expect animals big and small sing out in union at this point then... sorry, I am a bard, not a druid.
Although Mother Nature has her quirks and tends to surprise us now and again. We do love her so very much.

I have been around the world and to different realms and planes for several hundred years now.
Mixing with society of men, learning and being.. well.. the carefree fey that I am.
I came to apreciate even the ugliest of people as they always have moments of beauty that needs to come out.
Yes my skin and hair is green and seeing you have been staring at my full breasts since you laid eyes on me that I don't need to tell that I am 100% woman head to toe.
I mean, its not that the little clothing ,when I am wearing clothes that is, leaves not much to the imagination or does much to hide any surprises underneath.
