BACKSTORY

The queen lay within the marital bed, the king asleep next to her. As he lay on his back, the sheer weight of the man caused him to snore so loudly she believed the whole castle must be privvy to the sound. For 35 years she had been enslaved by marriage to this fat, ugly and wicked king. He had taken her youth, her looks and her passion for life. She pulled the blankets close to her chin and closed her eyes. The tears that she cried each night softly rolled down her full cheeks.

She slipped into a deep dream; a dream from which she would not wake.  She could feel herself falling through a black emptyness. She tumbled through the dark nothingness for what seemed like an eternity before she suddenly felt wooden planks beneath her bare feet. She opened her eyes slowly and beheld a sailor.

The sounds of the waves lapping against the side of the boat and the spray of the ocean roused her from whatever sleep remained. The sailor spoke, "We are almost at Sinfar, M'Lady"...

DESCRIPTION

In her youth, Helena was the beauty of her land. Petite, curvy and with a dazzling smile and emerald eyes. She worked the royal court as putty in her hands, just as he father had told her to.. At the age of 13 she ensnared the lustful eye of King Reddall. thus began her life of marriage and servitude to her wicked husband.

What youthful beauty she had has faded, replaced with lines of worry and excess weight. Her once golden hair is now a colourless grey and her tight, supple frame has become pampered and ond overly soft. Her emerald eyes have lost their once playful and seductive joy. She wonders where her youth went...

LIGHTS

Helena has lived a sheltered life under the oppression of her royal husband. Freed finally from these shackles she seeks to experience the things she feels she lost.
