Narhari is the prodigal son of a rakshasa rajah, and with dear daddy bound under a mountain with the sacrifice of an entire mythological race this young - roughly thousand year old - rakshasa was left to fend for himself in the multiverse.

As if things were not bad enough already the large blue giant of a man was not very good at being a rakshasa - mythological beings often associated with demons, cruelty and illusions did not make for the best of romantic poets.

In fact, Narhari's poems were pretty balls to the wall horrible in every meaning of the phrase.

Coupled with the fact he never bothered to pay much heed into disguising just who or what he was the shapechanger could be read like an open book even from distance;

"Lazy drifter sort of type who will probably eat your daughter and fornicate with your brother."
