Shard is a rather tall, brilliantly scaled half-dragon. Those shiny silver scales would suggest his descent from a Silver Dragon, and his height is 7'2" to be exact. The fellow possesses a pair of proportionally-sized wings upon his back, clawed hands, digitigrade legs, clawed feet, a long tail, sharp teeth, and swampy/mossy-green eyes. One could also surely say that the silver-scale is well muscled. Musclebound would probably be the proper word, but not overly so. One would be hard-pressed to claim him to be of "body-builder" status!

But, more importantly, it wouldn't take long for anyone to realize the kind, gentle nature of this creature. He always speaks in a soft, solemn tone; which matches the general aura of peace and calmness that surrounds him. This personality is surely derived from his heritage of a draconic race (Silver Dragons) known for its friendship and kindness, and his allegiance to the Lord of the North Wind.

At all times, a symbol of Bahamut could be found displayed somewhere on his person. Be it an engraving on his armor, an amulet, or a brooch on some other article of clothing. It is an older symbol of the Platinum Dragon: a single white star depicted over a colorful, starry nebula.
