Tall, muscular, and showing scars from many old brawls.  He is clearly of some orcish heritage, with dark green skin and deep red eyes, thick yellowing tusks jutting from his lower lip.

In the past:
Garon works as a dock hand in the city, and sometimes as a pirate, often carrying heavy burdens and loading ships.  He owns and makes very little, spending what he makes on drink and cheap food.  Often he could be found in seedy bars, smelling of sweat and salt, drinking away the day.

Now:
Garon was arrestred and imprisoned for several crimes such as robbery, brigandry, and assault.  Locked away for a time he eventually was offered the chance to shorten his sentence through service in combat as a conscript warrior.  He accepted and fought in a costly gruelling war as a criminal foot soldier.  Jaded and worn from his experiences he returns to the city now that he is freed from his crimes having done his time.

Now he often wears  the tattered piecemeal armor from his time of service, a flail on his hip and shield on his back.
