Mute's figure was rather covered in scars, from ritualistic torture scars marring what would have been an otherwise pretty face. An eyepatch covered an empty socket where her right eye should be, as many more of these scars trailed along open flesh.

She never seemed to speak, seemingly unable to - living up to her name. Yet she typically seemed to have a reasonably cheerful attitude, which one might find surprising given what she must have been through.

Her lack of flinching at the sun would suggest she's been on the surface for quite a while.
