She is a priestess of Tuonatar, the Wife of Death, Preventer of Life.

Sofia takes her duties seriously and is always willing to help anyone who may need her services. She is in Sinfar to minister to those in need. She is generally good-natured and caring to those she meets. Visually, Sofia tries to emulate her goddess in attire and behavior.

In Sofia's homeland of Ciris, Death (Tuoni) is the collector of the dead of all sentient races and moves them to their appropriate destinations in the outer planes. His wife, Tuonatar, is known as the preventer of life. She oversees infertility, sterility, miscarriages, and other ways of preventing life before birth. She is, herself,  a barren goddess. As Death's wife, she has access to all his domains and powers. As the Preventer of Life, Tuonatar is often sought by prostitutes, unfaithful spouses, and others who refuse to bring a child into the world. Those who rouse Tuonatar's anger will find themselves quickly sterile. Visually, Death's Wife can take many forms from crone to young girl. Her preferred form is as a stately royal woman of pale skin and flowing black dresses with lots of black lace.
