Vir is an ethereal being, its body adorned with shimmering black scales and wings that loom large in proportion to its small frame. He is a product of magic, a creation not summoned like other familiars, and has served a number of mages over the years, in exchange for his exceptional powers. Unlike conventional familiars, Vir is empowered with the ability to summon other creatures from his realm, bridging the gap between a familiar and a standard mage. This capability, however, comes with consequences, as Vir drains a portion of his master's magical and life energy as a price for his services.

Vir's preference lies in residing within the realm of his master, as opposed to returning to his own pocket dimension. This preference stems not from a desire for companionship, but instead, an aversion to being perceived as a mere tool, unlike other familiars.
