Talamorn Falconeye is a Druid. He owns a modest frame and prefers to keep his long hair tied neatly back, except for a few wayward strands that always manage to slip free. His clothing is plain enough, consisting of a clean shirt, simple pants, a heavy wool vest, and leather boots. Additionally, he will often sport studded or spiked bracers, though they seem less for show than practical purpose.

It is well known that Druid's are the defenders of the natural world. It is their job to protect and safeguard against unnatural forces that might disturb the balance of life. And what could be more unnatural than evil, and dangerously powerful magical creatures known as Dragons? Thus, did a collective of Druid's come together, in the effort to hunt down these magical beasts, to destroy or seal them away as best they could in an effort to return harmony to the lands ravaged by their presence. They hunted the great Red's in their mountains and the Blue's of the stormy coasts. They braved the frozen passes of the North to uncover the lurking White's and forged into the swamps and bogs to find the Black's. And the forests, yes they hunted even there, searching for the cunning Green's.

Many of these ventures were successful, and the druid's efforts were applauded. But at a terrible cost, for many lives were lost in battle against the ferocious magical creatures. And there were other incidents. Strange, unexplainable magics that would often course throughout a battle. For as any magic wielder knows, the weavings of power are fickle things, and often go awry at the worst of times. So it was with one young Druid, and as he and his companions fought bravely against a powerful Green dragon, the presiding archdruid conjured a mighty spell of sealing. The spell reached completion, and pulled at the Dragon, tearing its physical form and spirit from the forest, but not from the world. As the spell twisted upon itself, the Dragon, who should have been sealed away in an extradimensional plane, found itself instead the guest of a new host.

The other Druid's were unaware of the magical occurance, and Talamorn was able to mask his horror well enough to give his comrades little reason for mistrust. Inside the druid's body, the dragon waited patiently, realizing its fortune in having survived, and already plotting how best to shape these strange circumstances to its favor.

Realizing that doom was upon him, and his life would surely be forfeit should his dark secret be discovered, Talamorn quietly resigned from the collective, and traveled deep into the forests, where he turned his attentions inward, at last free to fully confront the beast that dwelt within. A mighty battle of wills raged, as the druid and dragon strove to enforce their edicts and principles upon the other, both seeking to dominate the foul joining of man and magical beast. Yet neither side could gain a firm hold, and as their internal war raged, each was exposed to the other, a witness to the soul laid bare of his opponent.  And from this witnessing, a respect was born, and then cultivated. Humans are foolish, mortal creatures, and Green dragons above all else value cunning, and deception in achieving their ends.

Thus, a pact was made, an agreement to co-exist as best they could. As the years passed, their bond grew stronger, and as the depleted powers of the Dragon returned, the magical creature awakened new abilities in his mortal host. A wary trust solidified between the two, such that Talamorn was able to leave the deep of the forests, and return again to civilization.  How this strange  tale will end, none may yet say.
