Jin-Kyong

Portrait
Description
I will break the back of this long, midwinter night, Folding it double, cold beneath my spring quilt, That I may draw out the night, should my love return.

A Kisaeng, a colorful flower wrapped in fine silks, to be admired like a painting on the wall. An artist of song, dance, and poetry. The vulpine figure was as of something made out of figments and dream, a perfection of eastern beauty as unrealistic as a painted vision come to life. Her skin the color of old ivory, her eyes perfect almonds - a dark reflective brown that the light glittered on, shadowed by long dark lashes and accented by a thick up-curving drawn line. Her lips always painted a dark shade of red, her features soft and rounded.

When the fair maiden smiles is the time when her beauty is its most painful. Some could say a smile from the right woman at the wrong time could spark a war, and so to is the one possessed by this bewitching artist. From the way in which her eyes light, the subtle parting of small pouted lips, a glimpse of pearly teeth -  truly she is at her greatest when she smiles, a fact that she always seems to just be hinted at with a mysterious smile only half formed her full lips.

Flawless skin never seemingly marred by a singled moment of strife would tempt and taunt through the arch of her neck or the smooth motions of slender fingers. Hidden in a dazzling display of voluminous colored silks was the promise of a divine feminine form beneath, never shown openly. Her enticing visage is further enhanced by her perfect poise. She does not walk, she glides as a leaf dances on the surface of the stream, her delicate steps a flowing dance and her every movement of her hands forming a regal baring where bewitching movements suggest sensual desirability.

But there is something to spoil the perfection of form. Swaying behind her, a long furred white tail marked the female as non-human, the white fur as soft as velvet and shimmering in even the lowest of light it would beg to be touched as if it where the finest of silks. The guise was further marred by a half hidden pair of sharply pointed ears perking up out of her dark tresses, colored in black fur and touched with white at the tips as if dipped into paint.

For those fortunate enough to see it, down the left side of her body winds a masterpiece of a tattoo. Resplendent with interlocking scenes and mythical creatures. Dragons, cranes, flowers and delicate vines, waves of the ocean, and of course spritely foxes as well.
