Tanaris was, before anything else, exciting company. A dam of white teeth showed in his smiles and leers, and his laugh was a thunderous, powerful thing that came right from his core. He was eager to drink, to gamble, to drink some more, and to lay his intentions on things, and most certainly  women, that he had no rights to.

It would be easy to find him exciting company, but harder to claim his company was good. The man had a cruel, possessive, and capricious streak on occasion, and his large and densely-muscled build alone told a cautionary tale. That he wielded some obscure sort of sorcery, and seemed fearless to the point of self-detriment, were alarming in an entirely different category.
