Zatara is a female sun elf, approximately one hundred eighty-five human years old. Her countenance is one of learnedness; her speech, articulate and educated. A knowing half-smile typically rests on her lips. Her clothing, though varied, is always made of the highest quality.

Identifying marks: Her body is very tattooed, the older ones on her thighs and forearms appearing of amateur quality. As they move down her legs and up her arms toward her breast, they become genuine masterworks of art, not forming pictures so much as highly intricate patterns of ink.Upon her back, one would find scarring indicative of years of regular lashings, some of the scarring appearing to be many years old, still others, rather fresh.

Upon her person, though never visible, would be a rapier with the name "Mercedes" etched into its blade. A dagger ever tucked in her waistband would be of a basic, disposable, yet razor sharp quality.
