Galin Groves

Portrait
Description
Putting one in mind of a thoroughbred - though from a family of combatants, rather than beasts of burden - Galin has the outward appearance of the big, dumb, hammer-swinging trogolodytes the wealthy send out from their castles to stop the peasants having too much fun at their expense. With a heavy set chin, taller than average height and a forehead that looks capable of cracking walnuts, you wouldn't be thought foolish for making that assumption.

Of course, things are so rarely as they seem, and while when he knots his brows it looks like two illiterate barges trying to pass in a particularly narrow canal, his voice is full of amusement and charm. Dark, unruly hair cascades down from his head and is often kept in check by a leather headband, which has the duplex use of covering some of the more livid scars at his hairline. The scars are ubiquitous and numerous; more are to be found on his arms and back than anywhere else, making the viewer wonder if he is either a very dedicated or very incompetent swordsman.

Bright green eyes peer out of his lightly stubbled face, and his frame is stocky without being disproportionate; lean and muscled.

Galin's list features many things, with the exceptions being the usual, the damp, and the illegal. Tell friendly, IC approach even more friendly.

Particular fondness for the arena, and the follow-up play of victory, defeat, and the consequences of thus.
"A beast stirs in every man when you put a sword in his hand. Afterwards, he wants women and drink."
