He'd gaze down from the edge of Jangling Hiter, City of Chains, his home plan, residing in the layer known as Minauros. Though this land like the other layers of hell was relentless an endless bog of acidic rain, flesh slicing hail, and strong winds. A grin would come across his features, before the sounds of chains would be heard and begin to move around him, seemingly wrapping around his form much like the ones that are already attached to his body.
 As he finally, slipped out of the illusion and into his true form, he'd jump off the ledge of the risen city, letting two hooked chains grasp onto a block above him, diving down towards the sinking stone Cities of Minauros, walking away from the pit if slimey water, listening to the wails and cries of the thousand of slaves keeping the city up from fully submerging. Walking away from such a delightful sight, and along a well walked trail, bloated bodies lining it's way that were deformed as well from being exposed to the acidic rain.
 Upon this journey, he'd see a rift seemingly open forward, and the voice of a cleric that summoned him forward to the plane of man. One can only assume that the cleric's circle of summoning and preparation wasn't completed, for he now walks the land of Styss once more.




             {True Form}

The clank and rattle of chains announces the arrival of this creature. It appears in human shape and size, but chains wrap it like a shroud, every length ending in a blade, hook, mace, a heavy ball, or just a regular chain link. With a close look closely the chains seem to slither and slide over the creature's form, as if they were alive.

   This chain shrouded being is a Chain Devil also called kytons. They are often mistaken for undead by those who liken them to the traditional shackle-rattling ghost.
  Kytons are human like devils that are wrapped in chains instead of clothing.

            {Combat}

A Chain Devil attacks by flailing with it's chains that serve as it's clothes, armor, and weapons. Chain Devils savor terror and fear so much that they may stalk their victims for hours, to build up dread and panic prior to attacking.
       A Chain Devils natural weapons, as any weapon it wields are evil aligned and lawful aligned to overcome damage reduction.

           {Special attacks}

Dancing chains- The chain devils most dangerous attack is it's ability to control as many chains as it wishes within 20 feet making the chain dance and move as it wishes. In addition a Chain devil can increase the chains length and cause it to sprout razor-edged barbs. These chains attack as effectively as the devil itself. The victim can do a dice roll (20) and if wins breaks the control over that chain in that victims possesion {Ex: Victim has a chain belt that is within 20 feet the kyton can control it, the bearer can do a roll to break the kytons hold over it for 24hrs). A chain devil can also climb it's own chains.

Unnerving Gaze- (Range 30ft) A Chain devil can shape it's face to resemble it to a lost loved one or a bitter enemy causing his oppenent to attack recklessly or not attack at all. (Dice roll 20 to negate)
