Helm is a hedge knight, travelling the world for the greater glory of house Talonclaw.
Born in the distant lands of Dwilight, in Nidhogg's Mark, once he was old enough to hold a sword he was sent to the court of another noble by his father, the Count, to become a squire.
After long years he was finally sired a knight, but due to the laws of the Empire he was forced to leave Dwilight, because no two nobles of the same household could hold lands there by imperial decree.
Known in his lands as "the Knight of the Door", he's said to have hold his ground against a lesser horde of monsters during the Great Plight, stalling them at a door in the castle, using his huge shield to choke the passage.
