While a rakshasa, being a shapeshifter, can become anything they like, Satin prefers to maintain her standard form. Although she's a diminutive thing, standing barely an inch over five feet and weighing about a hundred and twenty pounds, her slender form is deceptive. Possessed of an unnatural strength, the little Zakya hits hard and fast with her beloved greatsword, and is much tougher than she looks.

With fine, clear features and large eyes, a full-lipped smile and silken cinnibar skin framed by vivid golden hair, the rakshasa is lovely example of feminine curves and slender limbs. A hint of feline shows in the angular bones of her face and the wicked, flashing smile that often rises to her mouth. With narrow pupils and long lashes, her eyes are expressive and often attract attention. Not, of course, that she's adverse to such attention. Deliberately choosing a form that has a bit of flash, dash and flair is something Satin enjoys.

Choosing digitigrade legs, coated in a brilliant golden fur, and broad, clawed paws is one of her favourite tricks to catch the eye. Beyond the excellent balance that such paws give her, and the increased power of her stride from the structure of the leg, she loves the way paws look. Adding to the tigerish touch is the gold-furred, black-striped tail that flicks and puffs depending on her emotional state. For combat, she shifts into a true rakshasa's form, taking on a sleek, Indian tiger's head for the improved scent and hearing.

Hailing from a warm, humid climate, Satin often forgets that people tend to wear a bit more in the way of clothing than she learned to wear. Preferring solid black, red and gold, with the occasional touch of white against her dark cinnabar skin, she keeps her clothing short, snug and out of her way. Her real weakness is adornment. The Zakya absolutely loves gold and jewels, and is rarely seen without at least three pieces of jewelry. Golden bangles, arm bands, rings, chains and brooches sparkle on her, and with a ruby nose stud and her right ear pierced multiple times, she is blinding in sunlight.

Her most prized possession is the black leather collar around her throat, locked just above the gold and black band that bears an arcane pendant permitting her to communicate with her "kushal." The collar is finely crafted, bearing a simple gold clasp that has long since melted into a mere lump of shining metal, and bears the name "Khan ShadowClaw" in golden script along the right side, nearly hidden by her hair.
