Xylic is youthful and energetic, slightly on the immature side at times.  He looks to be in his early twenties, but occasionally has moments of wisdom where his words and actions betray his true age.  

Slender build, lithe figure.  Not a very muscular man by any stretch of the imagination.  
He has a pair of horns on his head, which imply he is a planar being of some sort.  Anyone versed in lore or diabolic studies would notice he is of Infernal heritage.  

Whenever he stands opposite a light or direct sunshine, an observant person would notice he casts no normal shadow, but instead his shadow flickers and moves upon the ground in a way most unnatural, as if it were alive.

He carries with him a sword, kept sheathed and wrapped in a red cord.  He always seems to carry it (unless special circumstances require otherwise), but never seems to remove it from the sheathe or wield it.  

His skin is slightly tan, as if he has spent a lot of time in the sunlight and his hands are rough from what one would assume could be recent hard work, which he was apparently not used to.
