Race: Magically Augmented Hell Hound (not a true devil)

Salacious was a strange sort, seeming lazy, quiet, and unmotivated. It was almost as if the creature avoided excitement in any form. Lounging on a bench, leaning against a wall and smoking, he was hardly personable at all - certainly not the type to stir up any sense of inspiration in anyone.

Covered in dense scars that formed a knotted lattice upon his skin beneath a dense coat of smokey black fur, that hound wasn't anything to write home about. He wasn't that attractive, even for a hound - strong, sure, but his personality and body were both far from beautiful. With his missing eye, habitual smoking and drinking, dress style, and enjoyment of flintlock pistols one might even say this strange mutt made for the world's laziest pirate aspirant.

Dressed far beyond his means the hound wore thick fine leathers, soft silks, gold earrings and a hellforged pair of bangles and a necklace to match, all bearing the same strange sigil.
