March Havelocke

Portrait
Description
March Havelocke
Mercenary

Dead eyes, the colour of a stagnant pool of water, dominated a face marred by countless small scars, as well as a few more pronounced reminders of battles fought long ago etched into his weather-beaten skin; A nose broken several times over, pockmarks from some illness in distant past, and hair that was little more than close kept bristle across his scalp and cheeks, all made for the face of a typical brute-for-hire. He had the squat, powerful, build of someone well versed to offering a beating at the behest of better men, or suffering one himself - broad shoulders, barrel chested, and nary a hint of grace.

Small blades bristled from scabbards across his person, jutting from a boot, hanging beneath an arm, not to mention the small collection dropping from his belt; Short, vicious, weapons better suited to a brutish fighting style dominated by hacking, chopping, motions rather than a graceful cut and thrust. He wore little more than a breastplate and stout set of bracers for protection - both engraved with golden ornamentation, hinting at some success in his trade, while he concealed his features, more often than not, beneath a cowl of dark cloth that left little to see save for the wearer's blank, unfocused, gaze.
