Standing at 5'6" and possessing a lithe, willowy build, Mirtsella is a far from imposing sight. The spectacles perched on her nose, her normally conservative style of dress and pale skin all point to her being the classic bookworm. Despite this she carries herself with grace and confidence, dispelling any notions of timidity. Her eyes, which seem to change from day to day and aren't always of the same type or color, similarly indicate that her quiet nature is a deliberate choice on her part.

Her face is very peculiar and could be said to more closely resemble a porcelain mask than a proper face, being much too smooth and symmetrical and possessing a certain rigidness. Perhaps most glaringly, her face simply lacks some intangible quality that helps define one as a living being. Any facial displays of emotion are shortlived and strained on the physical level. Despite all of this, or because of it for some viewers, she does have a certain prettiness to her.

She often carries assorted books and bags with her, with an even distribution between spell components and assorted medical tools such as scalpels, thread, and scissors.
