Character Bio: Uglack was an ordinary kobold in his tribe. He wasn't a fighter and he wasn't a merchant. He was scout for his tribe, a spy. One day the chief went out with most of the warriors of the tribe, leaving only Uglack and the women and children of the tribe behind, to go on a hunting trip that would last most of the day. The chief told Uglack that he was to stay and defend the village from any outside dangers. Shortly after the warriors were all gone The worst moment in Uglack's entire life occured. A rival goblin tribe emerged from the nearby woods and struck, shooting down most of the women and children down within seconds. Uglack quickly retaliated by trying to fight back, and managed to kill quite a few before finally being defeated. The goblin chief decided to tie Uglack up to a post a ways away from the village and set up so he could see the entire village as a form of torture. When the sun started to set, the rest of the tribe's warriors finally returned home. Uglack tried to call out to them, but was too weak to really speak and his tribe could not hear him. The goblins were set up in the village, ready to ambush the rest of the tribe. As soon as the kobold warriors got close enough, goblin archers began shooting them down from hiding. Confused, the kobold warriors scattered to avoid getting shot dead. The rest of the goblins took advantage to this confusion and came out from the village, charging the kobold warriors and had the upper hand. Uglack was forced to watch in shock as his tribe was cut down. He looked to the two goblin guards nearby that were supposedly keeping an eye on him, but they were too caught up in observing the slaughter. Uglack felt on the ground with both hands and feet, making sure he is as quiet as possible. He finally managed to grab a rusty dagger on the ground and started quietly cutting the rope holding him in place to the wooden post. After a short while he managed to cut himself free and he snuck up behind one of the goblin guards and quickly stabbed him in the back before quickly disposing of the second one. He then glanced at the sight in horror as his tribe was being cut down in the village, seeming to be getting over their confusion and fighting back. Instead of going down to help his tribe, he turned and ran in fear... fear that he would be next. After a few days he decided to go back to see if any of his tribe was left and was shocked at what he found. The entire village had been burned down and kobold and goblin bodies both were piled up in stacks and burning. There he vowed to himself to never allow anything such as this to happen to anyone or anything he cares about ever again. In sorrow, he turned around and began walking away...
