Cider is a small dog-like creature that feeds on almost any vegetation that grows. Cider can extract trace metals from the plants, which gives the creature it's almost metallic hide. The rasclinn is a small animal, growing only 3 feet at the shoulder and weighing up to 50 pounds. Its metallic hide gives it a silvery color, though normally this creature is rarely seen in sight it is quite fast and easy to avoid attention when draw to the many of those that shall view it as a sight which truly sticks out from the other canines that had come to romp about Sinfar as of late. Given it's body structure, it has a protective hide of scales and more importantly it is quite armored as well - despite being quick and easy to fade from sight, it bites adeptly hard in the face of a enemy when posted towards with threat. Small, agile and quick - Cider can hit and run a creature or person down that threatens it otherwise, adept and quite dangerous when provoked. This scaly varmint has become quite a pest and yet some may find it's presence welcoming as well.

Cider likes to communicate through body language and while capable of speaking it chooses not to otherwise since the words it would produce are simply incoherent and require patience to fully make out and understand its dialect. A hint of elven and perhaps growling does not mix well to the ears of those that would be the natural sing-song voice of this creature.
