What usually catches one's eye about Szwed is the pair of colourful butterfly wings sprouting from the fey's back. He seems perfectly natural with the wings and it's evident even after a brief observation that he was born with them. The wings are mostly deep orange in colour, however delicate blue patterns span their surface.

Szwed possesses an unruly mane of hair that matches the orange of his wings in colour. His skin finds a colour match in the patterns on his wings, a fair blue. His eyes are green and almond shaped, like those of most elves.

Indeed, one might mistake the man for an elf, for not only his eyes bear semblance to the fair folk. Like the elves, he sports elongated, pointed ears and an air of ageless youthfulness about him.

His garments are usually loose-fitting and voluminous, keeping him nice and toasty even in the cooler weather.

He often regards those around him with a lazy, but sharp gaze and it's not all too rare to find him lounging or napping about, watching the world go on around him while he contently just lolls around.

Those particularly sensitive to auras of evil might sense just the tiniest hint of malicious air lingering about the fey.
