Knight-Errant Hailing from noble households, both the wealthy and poor, knight-errant are the youthful flower of nobility that have yet to earn a place in the court of a higher noble, or find worthy rank in an order militant; Desperate to prove themselves, they often attach themselves to armies dedicated to crown or faith, and are eager to lead the charge into any enemy force - deeds intended to prove their bravery, that often leave the field of battle littered with the countless pennants and bloody tabards of the young would-be heroes. Very nearly as pale as marble, with sharp features that very well could have been chiseled from stone, this youthful warrior could almost resemble a corpse at rest, entombed in gleaming heavy plate, if not for the cough that occasionally rattles through his frame and leaves his lips flecked with crimson. Despite his somewhat frail health, and quiet demeanor, his emerald eyes seem to brighten, sear, in anticipation to battle or when matters of faith and honour are raised - the burning madness of a zealot brought to cause or questioned as to their purpose. |
