This drow stands at a an imposing six feet in height, occasionally seen with a large sword strapped to his back. Ashen skin and pointed ears mark him as drow, but where one might normally find a pair of red glowing eyes they end up staring into empty eye sockets that hum with a dull glow.

From time to time when watching this drow, the viewer may find that after taking their eyes off of him for even a moment that he is no longer in sight. The exceptionally perceptive, however, would notice that he has instead found his way into the shadows around himself - and that his body seems to have stretched out into a taller thinner creature. It was as if his shape was immaterial and, and to enter the shadow, he gave up sovereignty over form.

Instead of listing my lights, I'll just go ahead and say that if the character consents to it that the player is perfectly fine with the scenario. I'm willing to go where the role play goes.
