Born into a rather poor drow family, Iso's mother lost herself to drinking and drugs, not caring where her daughters ended up, because the less of them around, the more food there was to be split among the rest.  Iso left home when she was still relatively young, before the harsh ways of the drow elves coud poison her mind.  By some feat of luck, perhaps even a miracle, she managed to escape the winding corridors of the Underdark tunnels and make her way to the surface.  It took some time, but she eventually adapted to the light and made her way out.  She happened upon a traveling group of performers one day who at first, understandably, were frightened, some even figured they should kill her.  After the realization set in though that this was a lone drow child without that dark corruption in her mind, they took her in, taught her the common tongue, as well as some of their trades.  She caught on to some quicker than others, and one that she enjoyed the most was dancing.  For sixty years she stayed with this group until most of them started dying off of old age.  Now she goes around by herself, dancing where she pleases both for money, and the pure enjoyment of it.  She is quite beautiful, as most elves are, and to see her dance is quite breathtaking.
