Power Origin: Auris does not receive his blessings from the gods that normally give divine favor. Instead, his powers are drawn from the concept of pure goodness itself. So strong is his belief that it manifests as minor boons that aid him in his time of need. Those who would attempt to discern the nature of his powers may find themselves shocked; he is capable of divine miracles without a godly benefactor or deity, and that source is essentially infinite.

Ser Auris is a young, knighted noble from the prestigious House Delnir of the Kingdom of Avieka, one of the oldest cities in Carme. Known as the bastion of law and order in his home world, most noble youth that emerge from its sheltered walls yearn to explore new horizons, to see what the world has to offer beyond the confines of their luxurious manors.

Living a privileged life from birth, the young nobleman was lucky enough to be taken under the wing of a great knight of his house, Sir Arthur Cromwell. Much like his mentor, Auris is kind and gentle, always polite and friendly to any he would come across, regardless of their appearance or circumstances. Generally positive and upbeat with a good sense of humor, he rarely takes offense to any tasteful jibes or jokes, enjoying a lighter atmosphere than is normally expected. Inquisitive and insatiably curious, he is often seeking new thrills or knowledge, becoming quite excitable when such an opportunity presents itself. Unfortunately, the noble is also quite gullible and naive, mostly attributed to having been sheltered all his life, with little to no contact with any outside of his kingdom, where his family holds much political sway.  Another oddity that many may note is the strange, almost sudden shift in his speech pattern when donning his knightly armor. Though capable of more modern common, Auris tends to speak bits of old Elizabethan when donning his knightly plate, romanticizing the heroic and classic appearance he tends to display.

Auris keeps himself groomed and presentable at all times. He's usually clean shaven with a tiny soul patch, has long silky hair of sunshine blond, and his rosy skin is smooth and flawless, as though he used care creams, oils, or other such products. He stands at six foot even with a relatively modest build, possessing just the right amount of muscle to contrast against his boyish features. Dressing with impeccable taste, favoring darker colors and scattered golds, it is rare to find him under dressed for any occasion, regardless of how mundane or simple. Best of all his defining aesthetic characteristics, Auris lays claim to a classically dreamy smile, complimented by pearly white teeth and bright, light blue eyes. In both mannerism and aesthetic appeal, this young man is tugged from a fairy tale itself!

Clear, reflective surfaces such as mirrors or water reveal him for what he truly is much to his chagrin, dispelling the shroud that hides his fey form from onlookers (true seeing also works for this purpose). Ser Auris possesses traits akin to a deer, with a tiny bush of a tail, digitigrade legs, and cloven hooves. His skin is of a darker tan and his hair shifts from sunshine blonde to a light, earthy brown. Twin, dark brown horns peak out beyond his silky hair, decorated by leaves and little flowers here and there, some of which seem to grow directly from him. Small, pointed claws replace blunt human nails, complimenting his animalistic traits and further removing him, at least physically, from his former humanity. Despite the recent alterations his body has undergone, the knight has mostly retained his dashing looks, albeit now they are of an entirely different variety. Before, he had been considered attractive by human standards; he has evolved into something alien and divine, certainly inhuman and therefore alarming to those less acquainted with the supernatural.

Though his appearance would suggest otherwise, Auris is very shy around most women in a certain light, and it's usually at a point where intimacy is approaching. Forward actions or even just flat out bluntness regarding taboo subjects always gets an awkward response from the young man, his face flushing with color and eyes darting elsewhere in embarrassment. This slight social flaw aside, his speech, vocabulary, and general level of education are quite serviceable, and it isn't unusual for him to offer some surprising insight into varying topics of familiarity. At the core of his character is a truly noble soul, filled with good intentions for the world and those around him, often at great personal cost to himself.
