Loli was an apprentice witch to a great and powerful spell caster. Though she could never hope to live up to the power of her Mistress, who knew over a thousands spells.

In fact, Loli was a constant failure and could hardly master any spell. In the end she was forced to consider giving up on the idea of becoming a witch, but then she had a clever idea.  

She went forth and stole the secret knowledge of the dwarven defenders and by using up and sacrificing all her magic she bound that knowledge to her soul. Thus becoming one of the most powerful elven warriors known, capable of taking blows that would slay nearly any other.
