Paer Draz'il
An abomination of reptilian nature, the creature eminated an aura of perverse wretchedness. It was clearly some kind of lizard-folk, with a long and serpentine tail flicking from side to side behind its hulking form and scaled wings stretching from between its broad shoulders. Behind its helmet - for often the creature was wearing heavy metal encasement, obviously a warrior of some kind - was a pale face, a pallid representation of a reptile. His eyes were soulless orbs of pure ivory, lacking any pupil, often narrowed in an expression of hatred. There was a dark patch of thin, greasy hair that stretched down to the back of his neck, two pointed ears protruding up from beneath it. For a mouth he had pale, thin lips, usually parted to reveal a chasm of long stained teeth and a forked tongue. The creature's legs were inverted, although one of them seemed to be made of metal rather than scaled flesh; a hiss of steam accompanying every step, the click of metal sounding against stone rather than the sound of claws. The other leg, however, was almost fiendish in its appearance, ending in a cloven hoof. He seemed oddly fiendish despite his obviously reptilian heritage, a scent like brimstone faintly detectable beneath the smell of rain and blood. But it seemed a dangerous question to ask the creature, as in his cold white eyes there appeared no trace of warmth nor acceptance. |
