A boyish girl, or a girlish boy; it was difficult to tell if you even noticed this young thing midst more colourful individuals.

The fair complexion and the smoothness of delicate and endearing features, accompanied by a pair of full, heart-shaped lips, and the slender lines of brows, made it easy to assume this half-human youth fell into the feminine range. But with the lanky build, and with no breasts garnered through outfits always tailored for practicality, there could be no true confirmation.

The mouse-brown hair yielded no evidence, either, often braided back with a few bangs framing the cute, but serious face. Lack of amusement was nearly always present, as though constantly focused or unfocused, rarely somewhere in between. The eyes, a light olive shade, had heavy lids that could make the youth look tired, bothered, or intoxicated.

Thin leathers and cotton shirts wrapped firmly around the torso, allowed this one a full range of motion when in battle, with leather straps and buckles holding everything tightly to the slender frame. Upper arms often clad in a wider sleeve, only to be choked from the elbow down by a leather bracer, straps and all. Never fully gloved hands were dainty and feminine, though had seen their share of sword-wielding.

Waist down, equally slender, was often robed to the floor or fitted by loose pants, with a heavy sash bound around narrow hips. Weapons, several of them, littered the almost curveless flanks, with a fine katana always in easy reach. Perhaps suffering from elective mutism, the young half-human rarely spoke in public settings, save for quiet, private whispers in a hushed, frail voice.
