Blue eyes look out upon the frozen tundra he calls home, the young man hunting in the snow swept plains outside Icenfar.  His thumb passes over the scar that runs from his brow back to his hairline a half nervous tic when he is anxious. A physical reminder of his ill spent youth. The sound of the wolves howling in the distance the likely cause for such nervousness, perhaps they are the same ones that claimed his father years ago.

His hand strokes over the long yew bow half hidden in the snow by his side, the last possession he has left of the dead man.  He pulls the scarf round his neck tighter fingers brushing over the good luck charm he is never without. The metal slightly warm despite the weather, a gentle reminder of the woman's love who gave him that charm, his mother.  The cowl covering his head is drawn up higher, to cover his dark brown hair that stands out against the white backdrop of snow.

The hunters become the hunted as he takes off following the tracks that lead away from what is left of the little girl, the wolves last meal in this life.
