A hulking figure to be sure, the being that you have seen is not necessarily mammalian. That face is an angular, jagged shape, with a mouth that resides vertically rather than horizontally. Below this maw is a cluster of thick bristles that line the lower section of the face and across the 'cheek bones' of the carapace.

Glittering orange eyes are set inside heavy brows, folds of chitin over the 'nose' and brow giving the creature a perpetual sort of frown.

The insectoid being's torso is bulky, heavy, with a pronounced hunch that seems more or less like giant wing cases of a beetle, scraping together as it moves about.

Those formidible claws are blunt, thick, and heavy - with thick ridges across the backs of the hands, lending to the visible weight of them. The creature doesn't move them too much, at least, nothing beyond simply having them by its side.


Across the carapace are crevasses, spaces between the armored plates where the lighter flesh beneath is visible.
