Deva Kross is a humble woman, of simple pleasures. Traversing the land as a Paladin of the Purple Dragon Order, she lends credence to a cause rarely recognised; though when recognised, typically understood - perhaps this even applies to herself.

Her background is ostensibly modest, much like herself. She was raised as the only child of a single father, upon a farm that could barely support itself - she worked tirelessly for her father's respect; however, distraught by the death of his wife in childbirth, rarely ever had the capacity to witness his daughter's great pride in such a lowly upbringing. When her father sadly passed (some say from grief), he left her nought but the clothes on her back as a result of great poverty. It was from this point on that she set out across the continents, to great those who sought similar simple lives...

She came to appreciate that cleric-hood or temple-work was far too restrictive for her tastes. Knowing she was a rightfully free woman, she left any such work behind - though still valued their preachings of honesty, altruism, and agápe. As such, she found the Order of the Purple Dragon. By joining the Order she was regarded a disciple of Sune -beauty and emotion. Such recognition entitled her to preach to the masses, and this is the quest she so admirably embarked on.

Being quite submissive, she rarely gets her own way (and thus never ranked higher than a disciple due to her poor leadership), and is easily led astray by her trusting nature. Her debts will be repaid in any way possible: even manners that those of shallow taste would disapprove of. In hindsight (And to some extent foresight) of her quest, she has come to realise two things. One: She wants to be a strong 'companion', however one might interpret that to mean. Two: She has absolutely no fucking idea what her quest actually is, so she traverses the world in either her clothe of the Order, or her rather adventurous and bawdy bard-esque outfit.
