Mordukhvar

---|---|
His boots made loud, wet steps on a rainy day as he ran, and ran without looking back again. He ran so fast, so desperately, that his lungs had already begun to give up. One left, two rights, up an alley and down into his hideout. He exhaled heavily and attempted to catch his breath: he was finally safe.
Or so he thought, while the black smoke began to slip through underneath the door. Everything darkened, the candle lights struggled to remain alight as the air itself seemed to freeze. The man felt the sweat rolling down his face colder by the second, and thus he turned to face his demise. Standing, towering well above six feet tall awaited his killer: his dark skin made it almost impossible to discern much within the darkness that surrounded the Dogai. Two sets of horns crowned his head proudly, as Mordukhvar tilted his head in observing the man ... much like one would observe an insect about to be squished. Observing with what, however? Those scars suggested his eyes had been long since removed, yet he didn't seem to be blind -- particularly when he used his own hands, his own claws, to put that man's life to an end. And he was gone, forever hidden within the shadows ... unless something beckoned him out. |
