Raven dark and sultry walk
tangles of long hair talk
of wild ways and wild days
only to be silenced in a maze
of tendrils twining
into that reserved confining
bun placed high upon the head
as shattered desires seem to shred
a heart no longer eager to dream
and turned its propensity to scheme.
