In terms of her face and build, Ava is a rather typical representation of the svartalfar. Silvery tresses stand in stark contrast to midnight skin, much like a full moon shining through a cloudy, starless night. Her figure, while still elven in grace and willowy in form, is possessed of broader shoulders and more pronounced curves than of her surface kin.

These features set her apart from drow as well (or dhaerrow, as she would prefer to say). Her pale blue eyes do likewise, the little flecks of turquoise out of place with her typically less savory cousins.

Like her drow kin, however, this particular svartalf shares the blood of tanar'ri. Unlike the typical drow, hers is a bit more direct and certainly more recent. A flickering tail follows each of her movements, and something otherworldly glows in those blue little gems below her bangs. A pair of ethereal wings sprout from her back as well, though they are faint and only visible in darkness or the shadows. They do not react to contact in the physical realm.

This demonic blood also provides her with another attribute that sets her apart from her svartalfar sisters and drow cousins alike: she is unusually tall from one of her kind, and can meet many at eye level.

Her voice is deeper than what one might expect, a mellow alto. Though it could perhaps make for a powerful and commanding voice, her voice is typically soft and whimsical in contrast, leading to a tone that is often playful if not smooth and seductive regardless of the topic at hand or her apparent mood.
