He stood before you, a towering figure to the average man but hardly a giant. He was an empowering figure, big and boisterous in the eyes of most. If not for the fact that he was usually seen with a smile or grin curled upon his lips, one might be fearful of him.

Upon inspection it was soon clear that his stature was not only due to a large frame. The body of a warrior, musclebound and athletic, became apparent. He didn't have the pampered look of someone who strived for physical perfection but rather the appearance of someone who achieved this prowess through simple practicality.

The man's skin was naturally dark, matching his brown eyes and contrasting a swirl of white tattoos that were displayed across his body. Black hair came to a stop at his neck, dreaded and seemingly well taken care of.

Despite his athletic build it was fairly obvious that he was not as young as many other adventurers out there. Although he seemed to always be alert, his eyes held a tired look to them.

His features were masculine, chiseled, and defined. A strong jawline and prominent cheek bones came with a some what upturned nose. Going through his septum was a golden ring, resting just above lips which held the slightest hint of pout.

Coming within proximity of the sailor would reveal a concoction of smells, including the stench of liquor and tobacco. This was some what covered by the scent of recently burned incense but was never truly gone.

The clothes this man wore were often very comfortable and made of fine materials usually reserved for the upper classes. His fashion was that of a practical and comforting matter. He always had a small blade and a flask at his belt. Of course, his armor was much heftier and protective.

He spoke with a voice that had an almost harsh tone to it due to years of drinking and smoking. It wasn't the deepest voice you'd hear, though.

Aldous seemed to be one of the friendlier sorts. Although he could be rather salty at times, the man usually held a bright disposition and held others with trust and high regard. He saw the best in people before he saw the worst.
