Looking slightly older than many of the delightfully youthful residents of Sinfar, this middle-aged human woman has a handsome look that, while appealing, definitely has an appearance of being somewhat 'past it', as if she could have looked damn hot about ten years ago now.  She has a pretty, angular face that is not entirely without make-up, still good looking but also marked by slight wrinkles around the mouth and the eyes.  Her hair is silvery, probably black in its heyday, with thin streaks of white amongst the darker hues of grey.

Her body seems to straddle the same difficult territory, and is best described as aging gracefully, but not without a certain amount of anxiety.  She is not a particularly tall woman, but not entirely inelegant, with a well-balanced, motherly kind of femininity that is still relatively slender.  She has long legs that keep their youth relatively well thanks to the strength of the muscles therein, leading up to a firm bottom that is a little too skinny to have any sag to it.  Her stomach is not completely flat but, again, has little fat on it, so that she keeps her figure in relatively good shape.  As to her breasts, they tool are quite modest, B-cups that sag slightly but still have a trace of lingering youth to their firmness.

Polly's recent arrival in Sinifer is partly related to her anxieties about aging, but that can not fully describe why she is here.  A recent dark tragedy in her family has left her bereft of her husband and her two children, and after her lengthy mourning period she realised that if she were to continue defining herself as a wife and a mother, when there was no family to protect, she was going to tilt further and further towards suicide.  She was getting older, almost 45 years old, and her lack of working skills and connections did not mix well with the fact that the beauty of her youth was quickly on its way out.

And then she thought of the stories she had heard about Sinifer, not just the tales of evil and depravity but also, if she'd heard them right, the tales of gifted people and creatures there who could, if asked properly, help her with her state.  That she could, if she went there, help her to restore some of her old beauty to her.  The idea was insane, of course, and heinously ignorant.  Yes, there are people in this city who could give her what she seeks; but the price for that kind of transformation is not something that she appears to have truly calculated.  Her frenzied search for a restoration to youth and beauty might not be a fiction, but it was clearly unaware of the kind of deal she would end up having to strike.

Yet the other side of this is, being a grieving widow with nothing much to live for, Polly was also, if she would admit it to herself, just looking to get laid.  With the reputation it has, Sinifer is likely to deliver, and Polly is more than willing these days to let her libido take her places she never allowed it to in the past.  Again, however, perhaps her calculation here is somewhat naive; who knows what bizarre and corrupting influences might claim a role in the changes she thinks she wants?
