Displaced in a magical malfunction in the labratory near the spawning chamber in some benighted vault of his kin deep below the earth, a newly spawned Illithid finds himself alone and lost in a strange land with only the most idle thought of a name in his head and a thirst for knowledge along with the fragments of his body's former memories. He sets out eager to learn where and what he is as well as why his thoughts are so jumbled and what has happened to him.
