Incredibly gifted with magic from a young age but unnoticed, Benedict easily fell to the sweet lies whispered to him by the dark gods. This, along with his almost unsettling natural charisma, led him to slowly convert almost all of his village into worshippers of the infernal. Just as glory was almost his, the mayor and the rest of the few surviving, unconverted villagers unravelled the conspiracy and sent for the paladins. Benedict quickly fled, sacrificing most of his followers in order to leave a daemonic incursion as a smoke screen. He has now arrived in Sinfar, eager to teach the populace the One Truth and secure his ascension... whether or not they wish to be enlightened.
